Course Structure

The first thing to note is that every course has a different structure. That’s because each practice has a diverse audience and another goal. For example, a beginner course might have a section on setting up a website first, followed by lessons about building an online business. A marketing course might start with a team on marketing, followed by sections on writing, social media, etc. The only way to know what to expect is to read the course description.

Course Duration

I think it depends on what type of course you’re teaching. Some online courses only require 30 minutes a week, while others may take 4-8 hours. If you’re preparing a system that requires longer, it’s important to know that the system should not be taken lightly. If you put yourself out there and teach something, you should expect your audience to commit to it. It’s one thing to say you’ll provide value for their time, but it’s another thing entirely to deliver on that promise. Knowing what you require is important if you want to earn money online. You can’t expect to be paid for something you don’t provide.

Course Fee

The great thing about selling courses online is that you can offer them for free. The catch is that you have to let the world know about them. You can promote your free courses in many ways, but you must get creative. You may find a niche and then find a way to turn it into a profitable online business. There is no reason you can’t charge a fee to enroll in your courses. If you’re already setting a price for your offline methods, you could just as easily convert it into a virtual online version.

It’s not about the cost of a course; it’s about your profit. If you have a class that sells for $100, you could make $50 from each student. Or $50 for each student who buys it at the total price. What’s your plan? Do you want to start an online business? Well, now is the time. This is an excellent time to start because you have the freedom to pick and choose the type of online business you want. And remember, there’s no such thing as a “failure” when making money online—only progress.

Course Location

I’m currently working on my next course, and I’ve been thinking about where I want to hold it. I’m pretty sure location will play a big part in my decision. For starters, it’s important to me because I’m trying to make it easier for people to attend live events and meetups. It’s also a factor in whether I’ll be able to create a community of people that I can continue to support. If I hold the course in an area with a low population, I may struggle to reach a critical mass of people. And finally, it’s one of the few decisions I’m 100% confident about.
